Can all players and parents please note that they MUST NOT park in the disabled bays at the Club or in the hatch area that allows access to the cricket pitch.
This is extremely important for a number of reasons. The club has approximately 80 parking spaces for visitors and players. The 4 disabled bays must be kept for badge holders to use either visiting the sports or at functions within the club.
We have found that even if the car park is empty people persist in parking in the disabled bays as they are "nearer" to the Club, and on occasion the hatch area has been blocked by cars either dropping off or collecting people.
The hatched area must be kept free so that access can be made onto the playing areas for ambulances. We would hope that this is something we do not have to remind people of but unfortunately we have had occasions when emergency vehicles have struggled due to the parked cars.
The Club Exec are taking this matter very seriously and if members constantly offend it will give them no alternative other than to take further action.
